#165 - Connecting Business Needs to Youth in Poverty

How does a leader change the dismal prospects for low income families living in Native American, rural, and urban underserved communities? By training them better work skills.

Linc Kroeger, president at Knight Moves, is starting this work.  His progress is worthy of consideration.  His starting point is working to improve the lives of the young people who live in poorer areas of Iowa.  Programs like this may be one piece of the puzzle to overcome poverty, high drug use, gangs, and other challenges facing middle school to college age youth in America.

Linc is a software development guy.  His current focus is Knight Moves programs teaching software development skills faster and more effectively than college.  U.S. Congressmember Ro Khanna, representing Silicon Valley, praised Linc as, “the most innovative leader on bringing tech jobs to rural in the nation.”

Join David and Linc as they discuss Knight Moves’ work to help youth, and their families, break through social barriers and overcome trauma that plague our Native American, rural, and urban underserved communities.
